Paradise Island Supports Mary's Meal's 05.04.2010
Paradise Island Adventure Golf supported Mary's Meal's on the weekend of the 27th/28th March by donating £6.15 for every 25 people who played a round of adventure golf. £6.15 is significant as Mary's Meal's recognise that for this amount they can feed a starving child in Malawi for a whole year.
After a busy weekend, supported by many of Paradise Island customers we managed to raise £600 for Mary's Meals.
"on behalf of the Glasgow University Mary's Meals group, I would like to thanks Paradise Island Adventure Golf and their customers for their generous donations which go directly to Mary's Meals projects. The school feeding projects provide the world's poorest children in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe with a daily meal in place of education. I'm so pleased the weekend was such a great success and that so many children living in poverty will not have to go hungry because of the money raised from the event".
Fiona Vallance, student ambassador for the University Glasgow Mary's Meals group. -

Paradise Island Supports Mary's Meals - 27th and 28th March 24.02.2010
Come along to Paradise Island Adventure Golf on 27th and 28th March and support Mary's Meals.
The Scottish based charity has been working hard to provide daily meals for chronically hungry children in countries all over the world including Albania, Kenya, Malawi, Romania and Uganda.
One of the aspects that captures the publics attention about Mary's Meals is how they can feed a child in Malawi for a year for £6.15.
Using this concept for every 25 people who play a round of adventure golf we will donate £6.15 to Mary's Meals and hence feed a child for a year. Please support the charity by coming along on the 26th or 27th March by playing a round of adventure golf. We hope to raise a few hundred pounds for the charity.

Maggie is back 01.08.2008
Our beloved parrot Maggie McCaw has returned from an extended holiday in the USA. Maggie needed a bit of time off, all that squawking and talking had taken it's toll, but we are delighted to say she is back and is entertaining us all as before.
Come along to Paradise Island Glasgow and hear what Maggie has to say.
